Terms & Conditions 

Welcome to Decake Decade. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Order Confirmation & Payment

  • Orders are only deemed "confirmed" once full payment or the agreed-upon deposit has been received and verified by our team.

  • For custom designs, final pricing depends entirely on the complexity, size, and detailing requested. Quotations provided are valid for 7 days from the date of issuance.

2. Design and Visual Expectations

  • Baking and cake decorating is an art form. While we aim to match reference images provided by the customer as closely as possible, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed due to variations in lighting, structural requirements, and handcrafting limits.

  • Decake Decade retains the intellectual and creative rights to all custom designs created. We reserve the right to photograph and use images of your order for social media, marketing, and portfolio display.

3. Food Safety & Storage Advice

  • Cakes: Once delivered/picked up, cakes must be kept refrigerated or stored in a cool, air-conditioned environment. We are not liable for melting, structural collapse, or spoilage resulting from cakes being left out in hot Malaysian weather or improper storage conditions.

  • Cookies: Our crunchy cookies should be stored in their airtight jars away from direct sunlight and moisture to retain maximum crispness.

     

Refund Policy

At Decake Decade, we pride ourselves on delivering premium, high-quality custom cakes, Matilda cakes, and crunchy cookies. Because our products are perishable and custom-made to order, we enforce a strict return and refund policy.

Perishable & Custom Goods

No Returns: We do not accept returns for any food items once they have left our premises or have been accepted via delivery.

  • Cancellations & Changes: For custom cake orders, cancellations or modifications must be made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled pickup/delivery date. Cancellations made after this window will forfeit the deposit/full payment to cover ingredient and labor costs.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take immense care in packaging, but if an issue occurs, please follow these steps:

  • Reporting Window: Any issues regarding damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported within 2 hours of receiving the order.

    Proof Required: You must provide clear photographic and video evidence of the product and packaging, sent directly to our customer service WhatsApp channel.

    Resolution: If the fault lies with Decake Decade (e.g., incorrect flavor or design deviation from the agreed order brief), we will offer a partial or full refund, or at management's discretion.

    Taste Preference: Refunds will not be issued based on personal taste preferences.


Privacy Policy

Decake Decade ("we," "our," "us") operates in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010 of Malaysia. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers.

Information We Collect

When you place an order, join our agent/stockist programs, or interact with us, we collect:

Personal Details:
Name, contact number, delivery address, and email address
Order Details: Specific customization requests, event dates, and dynamic order preferences.
Payment Info: Transaction screenshots or bank transfer receipts (we do not store credit card numbers).

How We Use Your Data

  • To process, fulfill, and deliver your customized orders.
  • To communicate with you regarding order updates, clarifications, or customer service issues.
  • With your consent, to send you occasional marketing updates regarding new seasonal menu drops or promotions.

Data Security & Sharing

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Your details are shared only with trusted partners necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., third-party delivery riders, payment processors).
